Summary Pages

Your "starting point" for any account is its Summary page, which displays general information for the account and lets you access the sidebar menu options available at that account level. [Learn how to navigate the levels]

Consortium Summary

The highest level is the purple Consortium level. This level is optional. The Consortium Summary page contains links to one or more member institutions.

At the Consortium level you can:

• Access usage reports

Institution Member List (Summary Page)

The blue Institution level is required. The Institution Member List page contains links to one or more member locations.

At the Institution level you can:

• Configure authentication methods
• Manage custom databases
• Manage eBook subcollections
• Access usage reports

Location Summary

The lowest level is the green Location level. A location corresponds to a set of patrons who use one or more subscription-based Cengage Learning products.

At the Location level you can:

• View the location's database subscriptions
• Configure authentication methods
• Set general and product-specific preferences
• Configure third-party links, such as OpenURL,library holdings and request MARC records
• Manage custom databases
• Manage eBook subcollections
• Access usage reports

TIP: Generally speaking, settings made at one level apply to any lower levels.
